What we can do for you
Helping Families & Businesses Find the Right Plan
Not everyone gets health insurance through an employer, and not every employer has an HR department to handle benefits. That’s where we come in. At Dabolt Insurance Agency, we guide individuals, families, and small businesses across Lancaster, York, Berks, and Lebanon Counties through the health insurance process. From Pennie marketplace enrollment to short-term medical coverage, dental and vision add-ons, and even group plans for employees—we’ll make sure you understand your options and choose coverage that works.
Health Insurance Marketplace
Affordable Coverage Through Pennie Marketplace
What is pennie marketplace healthcare?
Pennie is Pennsylvania’s official health insurance exchange, and it’s the only place to access subsidies that can reduce your monthly premiums. The standard Open Enrollment period runs from November 1 through mid-January, but you may qualify for Special Enrollment if you’ve had a life change like losing job-based coverage or moving.
We Help You:
- Compare plan levels (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum)
- See if you qualify for subsidies or cost-sharing reductions
- Understand deductibles, co-pays, and out-of-pocket maximums
- Make sure your doctors and prescriptions are included in-network
Coverage When You Need It—Fast
Short-Term Medical Insurance & Small Business Coverage
Short-Term Medical Insurance
If you don’t qualify for Pennie right now, or you need immediate coverage, short-term medical insurance can fill the gap. These plans can begin as soon as tomorrow, last up to 364 days, and be renewed for up to three years. While they don’t include all Affordable Care Act protections, they can provide essential medical coverage for unexpected needs.
Health Insurance Solutions for Employers
Running a small business doesn’t mean you can’t offer great benefits. We help Central PA business owners provide health coverage options for employees, including:
- Traditional group health plans
- Self-insured options
- Voluntary benefits like dental, vision, life insurance, and disability coverage

Where do I begin?
When can I sign up for Pennie?
You can generally sign up for Pennie, Pennsylvania's health insurance marketplace, during the Open Enrollment Period, which typically runs from November 1 to January 15 each year. You may qualify for Special Enrollment if you’ve had a recent life change.
Is short-term insurance a good fit for me?
It’s not a long-term solution, but it can help bridge the gap if you’re between jobs, waiting for Open Enrollment, or need temporary coverage.
Do you help businesses set up employee benefits?
Yes. We work with small businesses across Lancaster, York, Berks, and Lebanon Counties to create affordable, flexible benefit solutions.
